Dominicano salió a encontrarse con amiga en Queens pero desapareció desde el 17 de septiembre
DLN-.-.NUEVA YORK._ El dominicano Vicente Suero, quien lleva menos de un mes en Estados Unidos, desapareció desde el 17 de septiembre, cuando le dijo a una hermana que iba a encontrarse con una amiga en el vecindario Jamaica de Queens, pero desde entonces, no hay rastros de él. La hermana de Vicente, Julia Muñoz (July), dijo que Vicente partió de su casa a las 2:55 de la tarde de la referida fecha, pero que no se ha vuelto a comunicar con ella ni con sus hijos que están en la República Dominicana.
Ella sugirió que teme lo peor, porque tiene la sensación de que “algo” le habría pasado a su hermano.
La hermana dijo que Vicente, nunca se había desaparecido, por lo que la angustia es cada vez más creciente en la familia.
“Le hicieron algo… o no sé, porque él nunca había hecho esto, es la primera vez”, agregó Muñoz entre lágrimas.
Relató que Vicente le dijo que la amiga lo iba a buscar a El Bronx, pero la hermana dice que la familia no sabe si realmente se fue con la desconocida o se perdió en ese condado.
Ella dijo que conocidos de Vicente le dijeron que la mujer desconocida no lo recogió, porque él se fue caminando hasta la avenida Park.
Es la tercera vez que Suero visita a Nueva York con visa den turista.
Llamó a su hermana el martes 18 de septiembre a las 9:30 de la mañana, día siguiente a la desaparición, para decirle que no le había contestado las llamadas porque su celular no tenía internet.
También le dijo que “yo estoy aquí” y cuando ella le preguntó que si iba a regresar a la casa, Vicente le contestó que “por ahora no”.
July dijo que la familia no conoce a la mujer, supuesta amiga de Vicente y que el teléfono de su hermano, timbra pero que nadie contesta.
Vicente tiene fecha de regreso a la República Dominicana para el 8 de este octubre.
La hermana dijo que la policía ha sido notificada de la desaparición, pero el deseo es que reaparezca o se comunique con ella.
